Hayley D Sykes: I am an avid reader and have been for as long as I began reading. I have a beautiful daughter that is nine years old who also shares my love of reading. I have been searching for a place to review books that would be meaningful and helpful to authors and publishers alike. I sincerely hope that my opinions can help interest others to pick up a book and read more. Books to me are an escape to another place and or time, a transport without going anywhere. I believe creative criticism is one of the best ways for one to grow their skills, whether that criticism be good or bad. I have a background in art and learned quickly that some people will love what you do and some will not. Learning to build from the negative reviews helped me build my art skills and see from another point of view. I look forward to providing good honest reviews, good or bad, and hope to share some interesting conversation and topic ideas on books.
